Blog Post 1 Moon+Tides
The piece of information that I’ve learned so far that is probably the most fascinating for me is about the movement of the tides and how it is tied with lunar cycles. I am not fascinated with all of the cosmos per say, but I do believe in the power of the moon and the energy that it brings to our planet throughout its phases during the month. It’s so interesting to note the difference between spring tides and neap tides. It must have been such an interesting discovery to find that during spring tide the earth, moon, and sun are in alignment creating the strongest pull for the ocean to have the largest differences in tide. Though the Mediterranean doesn’t see the effects of that as much, here are some nice seaside photos I have taken since I’ve been here.
